A very slow turtle by Syd

Once there was a very slow turtle. Everywhere he went it took him a half an hour to get there. So one day he said "I'm always late for class". The next day he took the bus, it was much faster. When he got to school it was 9:00am. He had gone so fast on the bus that it was an hour till school started. He decided to go play on the playground but there was something wrong about it. It was missing something, yes there was something missing, his friends. He was sad so he went on a short walk. When he came back his friends were waiting for him.

Soccer Practice

We took the kids to the doctor to make sure they didn't have Strep throat and they don't, just a viral infection causing redness and blistering on the back of their throat - Yuck! So because they don't have a fever it was off to soccer practice. Jeff is helping coach this year and Syd decided to practice with them. I think if she was going to try a team sport this would be the one for her.
