My dad has a cool Mercedes 600SL and Jared is really into cars and how fast they can go and what's under the hood and all that boy stuff. He was really chomping at the bit to see how the car drove. So Grandpa offered to let the kids go for a ride, one at a time, on the highway. Grandpa wanted to give the car a run anyway so off they went. 
When Jared came back he was "Mom, we went really fast, it was really tight (meaning cool to us old folks)" and had stars in his eyes. Then it was Syd's turn and she went really fast too and she thought it was really fun and loved how the engine sounded.

Which consisted of getting the family together to hang out and letting the kids play. 
Having dinner together and having cake and ice-cream.
I think she ended up buying one of everything! The best thing was she got to have the opinions of her Aunt's and her grandma and her mother on all the clothing, a true female bonding experience (haha). 
And what happens when you shop for awhile, you get hungry. So off we went to find the closest Aunt Annie's Pretzels. YUM!
