We took a break at the Nick-a-Jack Dam rest stop just outside of Chattanooga.
It's just a fun place to stop and watch the train come around the mountain, or watch the wildlife, or just look at how peaceful the water is.
It's really a huge dam, but we never see any vehicles or people in the water, quite a few campers though.

And we're off....
Today we drove down to see my family in Atlanta. Sydney wanted to see them for her birthday and it was with pleasure that we took her. On the way down through southern Kentucky - Northern Tennessee we ran into a storm that was pretty wild.
The wind was pushing the car around and it was raining so hard, we could barely see out the window to drive.
But we had a fearless and controlled driver - Jeff - at the wheel.
Our Hero.
