Bird Watching

We have a robin's nest in our Bradford Pear tree out front and it appears that we have two baby robin's in the nest. As the Jets were flying by overhead the mama and papa robin were flying in and out of the nest with food for them. I admit I was bugging them trying to get a picture of the babies feeding and mama robin was not pleased with me. So she buzzed me and freaked me out, I deserved it. On the good side I still got a couple of pictures that I like. Hopefully you can see the little beaks sticking out from the nest with their mama off to the side.

Watching the Jets practice

The Air Show is in town this weekend and we were treated by being able to see the Blue Angels practice from our house. We just think they are awesome. It's incredible how closely the fly together and how uniform they are. Amazing. They even flew over the house a couple of times and I was too busy watching them to take any pictures that are worthy.
