Ugghh Bugs..soccer after dark! - June 28th, 2010

Don't know what kind of bugs were out today but they were swarming everywhere. We stayed inside most of the day and played games and then went outside when the bugs left. The kids had fun playing soccer in the dark.

Pool Day! - June 22nd, 2010

Spent the day before Syd's birthday decorating and making her a soccer birthday cake and then after all the chores were done the kids headed out for some time in the pool. 

Rain and Pool Time - June 14th, 2010

After we got home from Traders Point it was raining so we played outside in the rain to get rid of some of the sweat and cow stench we had on us.

And then the kids jumped in the pool.

Traders Point Creamery - June 14th, 2010

Today we went to Traders Point Creamery out in Zionsville. Thought it would be fun to see a real working farm with cows and chickens.

We got the added benefit of having some fresh made ice-cream. 

And we also took a 3 mile hike along Eagle Creek.

    

We also saw a bunch of pretty wild flowers.

 

And of course we got to see cows and chickens.

Syd's soccer game - June 12th, 2010

Today was Syd's last soccer game for the season and she did a great job. She loves playing defense!

After their game they al received a medal for all their efforts.

Balloon Glow - June 11th, 2010

We went out to Mt. Comfort Airport tonight to try to catch the Ultra Lights and Hot Air Balloons go up in the air and light up the sky. We got to watch the Ultra Lights as the sun was starting to set, but there was an accident and they cancelled all the activities from that point. Bummer! 

Jared at HCS Soccer Camp - June 7, 2010

Jared went to Jeff's old school for a 4 day soccer camp. He seemed to enjoy it and I think he learned a few new things. If I had to guess I think he would choose soccer as his favorite sport.

Outrun the Sun - June 5th, 2010

Today we did our first 5K walk as a family! Yay! It was fun even though it took us 1hr 23min! LOL

We watched them let balloons go for all the people that have lost their battle with Melanoma (The reason for the walk was to make money for skin cancer research.)
