Today it was Community Tuesday at the Zoo, which means it was only $7 for a ticket instead of $14 & $9. We went there with, I think, the rest of the entire city! Was anyone at work that day?! At least that's what it felt like trying to get
into the Zoo. Once we were in it was really pleasant, not packed liked we would have imagined. We spent about 5 hours looking at all the animals, reptiles, marine life and butterflies. We saw most of the animals except for the Ostriches because a cheetah will be living there soon. We loved the Underwater Dolphin Dome,
it's just to cool to go watch them do their show
from underneath the water.
The kids loved the Splash Park,
feeding the Turtles and Ducks
and touching the Dog Sharks.
We wished we could have seen more of the
Komodo Dragons but there were only 2 of them in really small enclosures and tons of people wanting to see them.
But it was a good day to go and we had fun looking at everything.
