After the movie we went and got a burger at Five Guys, then moved on to shopping. We promised the kids that they could use their garage sale earnings to redecorate their rooms. We found ourselves at Menard's picking out paint. Jared chose Celadine - a soft, deep green color. Sydney chose Green Harbor - a bright, almost Caribbean sea green. Here's hoping it looks OK in their rooms and they don't want to change it anytime soon. After getting home and having dinner the kids went for a swim in the pool with some of the neighborhood kids and then we had S'mores around a campfire. Pretty cool day huh!Tuesday, July 14, 2009
Busy Summer Days
After the movie we went and got a burger at Five Guys, then moved on to shopping. We promised the kids that they could use their garage sale earnings to redecorate their rooms. We found ourselves at Menard's picking out paint. Jared chose Celadine - a soft, deep green color. Sydney chose Green Harbor - a bright, almost Caribbean sea green. Here's hoping it looks OK in their rooms and they don't want to change it anytime soon. After getting home and having dinner the kids went for a swim in the pool with some of the neighborhood kids and then we had S'mores around a campfire. Pretty cool day huh!Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
We went to see Ice Age today. I'm glad the kids still like to watch animated movies 'cause this one had some funny moments in it. Jared was laughing his behind off at some of the Scratch scenes. So from me, just for that this movie gets 2 thumbs up.
